For one of my classes I got the opportunity to go to Rochester General Hospital and watch surgeries. While I was in the surgical room I was able to get sketches that were then turned into projects. This surgery was the removal of a tumor on the pituitary gland. This is the orientation drawing that shows the device that was used to make the opening a little bigger so you can see into the nasal sinus and get to the work area. The other painting shows the path that they took to get to the tumor. This project was done in Adobe Photoshop.
